Purpose of the Job
The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the professional delivery of services to specification, on time, and within agreed standards. The purpose of the role is to provide exceptional client service through effective project management, clear communication, and consistent product delivery. It requires maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring that solutions are aligned with client needs and business objectives. The Account Manager takes ownership of briefs from initiation to completion, negotiating costings and timescales, selecting appropriate suppliers, and driving efficiencies while upholding company policies and service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Manage client briefs from specification to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are metProvide technical input on print/POS projects and suggest innovative solutions where appropriateProduce and communicate detailed specifications to internal teams and suppliersMonitor projects to ensure on-time delivery, accurate recording, and high levels of customer serviceCollaborate across departments to deliver contractual requirements, reporting, and presentationsImplement new methods and procedures to drive efficiency and improvementAttend client and supplier meetings, including press passing when requiredPartner with the Account Director to identify new business opportunities and maximize profitabilityEnsure compliance with company policies, SLAs, and key business objectivesMeasure customer satisfaction and oversee invoicing procedures to maintain service excellenceKnowledge, Skills + Experience
Proven account management and project management experience, working to strict SLAs and KPIsTechnical print knowledge, including POS, digital/print marketing, and press passing is preferredSkilled in advising clients on campaign solutions and liaising directly with stakeholdersCommercially aware and numerate, with experience managing budgets and driving efficienciesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management and prioritisationProfessional, courteous, and calm under pressure, with strong interpersonal skillsProcess-driven with a project management mindset and focus on business developmentExperienced in troubleshooting project issues and implementing preventative measuresConfident in meetings, approachable, and able to build strong client relationshipsProficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint is essentialFluency in English and French is essential.#LI-EB1
