Job Summary

As a Warehouse Forklift Operator at , Inc., you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing materials and products within our warehouse facility using a forklift. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of goods.

Job Responsibilities

* Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, stack, and move products and materials.
* Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
* Accurately pick, stage, and put away inventory according to established procedures and using scanning equipment.
* Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of goods to maintain inventory integrity and prevent damage.
* Assist with inventory counts and participate in cycle counting activities as required.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.
* Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and achieve operational goals.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers regarding operational issues or concerns.

Job Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid forklift certification and/or proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
* Proficiency in operating various forklift types (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) is highly desirable.
* Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
* Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanning equipment is a plus.
* Excellent understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
