The opportunity

Finary is building the financial infrastructure for the next generation of investors. We're looking for a VP Finance to own our financial strategy as we scale from a post-Series B company to a multi-product, multi-license financial institution. You'll be a core member of the leadership team, shaping how we allocate capital, navigate complex regulatory requirements, and prepare for our next chapter of growth.

What You'll Do

• Own the company's financial truth — maintain accurate, timely reporting (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet) and ensure leadership always knows where we stand

• Enable good capital allocation — provide insights on unit economics, ROI of initiatives, and help the exec team decide where to invest or pull back

• Make us audit and regulator-proof — ensure full compliance with PSI, MiCA, capital adequacy, and liquidity requirements with zero material findings

• Scale the finance engine — build and lead a world-class finance team covering accounting, FP&A, regulatory finance, and treasury

• Support fundraising and investor relations — keep a forward-looking model investors trust and produce clean board materials

You'd Be a Great Fit If You…

• CFO / VP Finance / Director of Finance experience at a regulated financial institution and/or a fast-growing fintech

• Proven track record scaling AuM and/or revenue in a fast-growing environment

• Deep regulatory expertise — capital adequacy, treasury, liquidity management, audit preparation

• Multi-revenue model experience — SaaS, brokerage, AUM-based pricing, interchange, or spread-based revenue

• Strategic and hands-on — can build frameworks while diving deep into the numbers when needed

• Clear communicator — translates complex financials into actionable narratives for board, investors, and cross-functional teams

• Thrives in ambiguity — comfortable with shifting priorities and incomplete information
