This role is accountable for driving profitable growth across a defined region through direct selling, strategic account development, distributor management, and team leadership. The RSM owns regional revenue performance, develops and executes territory growth strategies, and builds a high-performing sales team. Success requires strong commercial acumen, technical credibility, and the ability to balance hands-on customer engagement with leadership and financial oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Strategy & Financial OwnershipDevelop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with Chase Corporation's commercial objectives.Own total regional revenue, forecasting accuracy, and performance against budget.Build and maintain strategic roadmaps that drive sustainable growth with direct and indirect customers.Key & Strategic Account ManagementIdentify, develop, and execute Key Account Plans for top regional customers.Lead senior-level customer engagement to understand current and future needs, secure commitments, and expand share of wallet.Promote Chase Corporation products and aftermarket services directly or through authorized distributors and agents.Sales Execution & Customer EngagementGenerate and advance new opportunities through consistent customer engagement and proactive pipeline development.Conduct on-site customer meetings to define requirements, finalize specifications, resolve issues, and close business.Deliver commercial and technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.Partner with Service Operations and Sales Application Specialists to coordinate site visits, audits, testing, and technical support.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop regional sales talent, including defining clear development pathways and performance expectations.Foster collaboration across Regional Sales Managers by sharing best practices, insights, and opportunities.Reporting & Cross-Functional CollaborationPrepare and present weekly and monthly reports (forecasts, customer activity, pipeline health), with action plans to address variances.Work cross-functionally with Sales Applications, Marketing, Operations, and R&D to deliver customer-focused solutions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, Industrial), Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.3+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or field service within industrial or specialty materials markets (e.g., adhesives, sealants, coatings, electronics, manufacturing).Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems in a customer-facing environment.Strong commercial judgment with the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and R&D.Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel 30–50% within the assigned region.Regional language skills where applicable
