About Chain of Events Chain of Events brings together the people shaping the future of technology, business and innovation through three leading summits in Paris. Chain of Events runs three summits, all in Paris, all within the same week:
• Signal Week is where traditional finance and digital assets stop being two industries and become one financial system. Born as Paris Blockchain Week in 2019, it has become the meeting point for the institutions rebuilding finance on new rails, from BlackRock to Deutsche Bank to the London Stock Exchange, with policymakers and regulators in the same room.
• RAISE Summit is where visionaries and AI converge. No single company owns the AI value chain: energy, chips, models, applications, every layer depends on people who rarely meet. RAISE is that meeting. In just three editions it has become one of the most talked-about AI gatherings in the world, with Yann LeCun and Mark Cuban on stage, a gala at the Château de Versailles, a global hackathon and one of the largest startup competitions in AI.
• MACHINA Summit is where AI meets the physical world. Not a robotics expo, but the place where humanoids, industrial robots and autonomous systems move from prototype to production. Launched in 2026 with Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics and NVIDIA on stage, it is our youngest brand and the one with the most ground still to conquer. Three brands at the frontier of their field. The role and its stakes As Ecosystem Intern, you join the team that runs the startup and investor programmes of Signal Week, RAISE Summit and MACHINA Summit. You work hands-on on the hackathons and startup activations that bring founders, investors and technical talent together. This is not an observation internship. You will own specific project tracks, and the quality of your work will be visible on site, in front of thousands of attendees, during the same week in 2027. Concretely, you will:
• Run hackathon execution. You organise participant recruitment, mentor onboarding, sponsor integration and logistics for the hackathons of the three summits.
• Coordinate startup activations. You help curate, screen and coordinate the startups taking part in pitch showcases, exhibition booths and 1-on-1 investor matchmaking. In 2026, RAISE the STAKES alone received 1,100+ applications.
• Drive ecosystem outreach. You work with ecosystem partners, tech communities, founder networks and VC hubs to maximise turnout and engagement across the three summits.
• Support operations end to end. Before, during and after the events, you make sure every participant has a seamless experience. Growth and development
• Ownership of real project tracks during a 6-month internship that covers the full event cycle, up to on-site delivery.
• A front-row seat on the venture capital and tech ecosystem, across AI, robotics and digital assets.
• A network you build in the room: founders, investors, mentors and community leaders.
• Full access to a premium AI toolset, with the budget to keep adding to it. About you
• Around 18 months of cumulative experience, including internships and gap years, in venture capital, private equity, startup incubators or tech events.
• Currently pursuing or holding a Master’s degree from a business or engineering school.
• A real interest in startups, venture capital and emerging technologies.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and resilient in high-tempo event environments.
• Able to run several tasks in parallel and take ownership of critical project tracks.
