As a Technology Specialist - Azure Infrastructure , you are a business leader with technical expertise working with our customers for France and Switzerland . You will lead a virtual team of sales, technical, and services resources to help customers realize digital transformation through cloud computing achieve/exceed quarterly Azure Infrastructure consumption targets for related workloads in your assigned accounts. You will be able to engage with senior decision makers to uncover digital transformation initiatives and have a passion for learning how Azure cloud services can deliver digital transformation. You will develop and maintain an Azure Infrastructure expertise, able to identify projects, build a compelling business case, and drive the consumption project to production. You will build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the executive level with technology decision makers. You will help customers evaluate their cloud strategy, determine approaches to application and data migration and modernization, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.

Qualifications
There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft.
Bi lingual French / German is mandatory to address the two different market Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience. OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience. Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management. Experience with management of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e., Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, VMware, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers, HPC, and Infra as a code technologies). Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (i.e., Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, microservice frameworks, SDKs etc. Experience with Identity/Security (Azure): Identity, Security Architecture, Security Management and Network Security Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud).Microsoft believes that by investing in our people and creating an inclusive environment, our team will do their best work.
Responsibilities
The main goal of a Microsoft Technology Specialist (TS) Infra is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use Microsoft technology and cloud services. The TS is expected to both own and win customers’ technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and engagements for Sales Specialists to pursue. As a TS, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate, and prove our solutions, and win the technical decision. Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft
cloud-based technologies.
This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% / up to 100% from home.
Lead technical discussions with customers on Azure Migration using consultative methods and establish engagement rules for extended teams. Act as the Voice of Customer to share insights, remove key blockers, and drive product improvements. Maintain expertise in cloud migration and collaborate with the technical community. Develop a strategy to map customer vision, resolve concerns, and validate a strong business case for investment. Identify new opportunities and hand off to the Solution Specialist for pursuit. Conduct technical assessments to map the current landscape and build a solid migration business case. Design solutions using technical knowledge, architectural approach, and consultancy skills to win customer's technical decision. Scale through partners, facilitate partner resources, and support partner technical capacity. Collaborate with the Specialist to create new pipeline. Act as a Trusted advisor to understand customer pain points and offer solutions with a business case to technical leaders. Be an Azure platform evangelist for Migration scenarios such as Hybrid Compute, Backup and DR, Desktop Virtualization, HPC, and AVS. Collaborate with customers and account teams to develop a customer technical skilling plan.
