About the role:


In this position, you will work with top global Pharma and Biotech Accounts to provide value-add product (and service) solutions, building customer loyalty through predictable delivery and effective relationship management.


You will be accountable for consistently driving and expanding top line sales, in high margin Gross Profit and total selling contribution for the Global Account.


Other responsibilities include:

Business Leadership:

  • Responsible for the Account P&L, and driving global sales growth consistent with the overall revenue and growth targets. Proactively manage risk to financial and growth targets and commitments.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competition in order to anticipate their affect in the market and customer account, and build proactive risk responses.
  • Educate BD Management and functions of changes affecting customer's industry and business in order to formulate proactive strategies for BD to increase market impact.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Provide visionary leadership in driving collaborative business and portfolio planning with Senior Management (BD/Customer) to achieve global objectives. Develop a strong relationship with the customer, striving for high customer loyalty and sustainable relationship value.
  • Identify customer needs and integrated solutions that provide value to customer, grow BD's customer share, and pave the road for strategic growth.
  • Establish effective processes for joint operational and project planning, decision making and communications.
  • Build and maintain high level of customer responsiveness and effective issue resolution.
  • Establish joint performance indicators for measuring and improving collaboration ROI.

Customer Program Management:

  • Represent the needs of the Customer in defining BD PS business and platform strategies, and tradeoffs.
  • Ensure a globally coordinated and fully integrated crossfunctional approach to meeting customer needs, including proactive risk management and timely resolution of conflicts.
  • Ultimately accountable for ensuring customer delivery based on Account business
- and project plan(s).

About you:


We are looking for an experienced 'Hunter' in the Pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record managing key strategic accounts and C-level relationships.

Experience either within a Pharmaceutical company, or with experience selling to Pharmaceutical companies, is a must.

Experience in Vaccine, GLP1 or Biologics domains is ideal.

  • Demonstrated success in managing P&L & revenue growth.
  • Understanding of Healthcare and Life Sciences industry trends, and global challenges and opportunities.
  • You must be thoroughly grounded in financial and operational management.
  • You have experience in leading effective teams in multicultural environments, and fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries is crucial.
  • Cross functional experience across sales, marketing, business development, procurement and other functions in the medication delivery space in pharma industry or CDMO companies is a plus.
