Dolce&Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion is looking for new talent for its newly created in-house Beauty Division. It has an exceptional career opportunity available for a Brand Manager UKI, Portugal & Africa within the France, UKI, Portugal & Africa Regional Hub based in Paris, mixing two business models (direct-to-retail & distributors).
The Brand Manager UKI, Portugal & Africa will closely work with the Area Manager UKI, Portugal & Africa and will report to the Head of France, UKI, Portugal & Africa. He/She will also closely work with EMEA Teams based in Milan including E-Commerce, Trade Marketing, Merchandising, Training, Media/Influence/PR, as well as the EMEA Marketing Director. Finally, UKI, Portugal & Africa scope has a Distributor Business Model – the Brand Manager will therefore also closely collaborate with Distributor Teams including but not limited to Local Brand, Trade Marketing & Training Managers.
His/Her objective is to ensure brand building via increasing rankings & market share - all while elevating the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall Marketing Strategy: Supporting the Head of France, UKI, Portugal & Africa in the Budgetary Exercises on the 360 Marketing Strategy – to have it coherent with Global Vision & Brand DNA.
• Trade Marketing: Ensuring the local market trade marketing plan reflects both EMEA Priorities & Local Market Specificities, all while being aligned with sales objectives & agreed A&P spending.
• Portfolio Strategy: Aligning product priorities to Sales/Line expectations & Forecasts.
• Distribution Strategy: Supporting the Area Manager on Door Opening/Closing exercises from a qualitative & competitive point of view.
• Investment Strategy: Ensuring that A&Ps are well allocated by line & by account: the right lever must be activated at the right time on the right line.
• Merchandising Coordination: Leadership on Permanent & Non-Permanent Merchandising projects in collaboration with the EMEA teams to ensure timings & flawless executions, including planograms.
• Digital Marketing Coordination: Ensuring coherence on the Offline/Online plans and ensuring excellent brand execution on retailers’dot com & e-com pure players.
• Communications Coordination: Coordinating with internal stakeholders for PR/ePR, Influencer Marketing & Media Plans.
• Training Coordination: Coordinating with internal Training & Retail Excellence teams to ensure the local Training Strategy is respected.
• Brand Analysis & Reporting: Able to produce rigorous reporting & drive learnings from key conclusions.
Key Requirements/Skills:
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a similar marketing role,
• Fluent/Native English & French B2+
• Previous Management of Makeup is considered a plus
• Excellent Project Management Skills incl. Accuracy & Timeliness
• Strong Analytical Skills & Commercial Awareness
• Entrepreneurial Attitude
• Excellent Relational Skills
