  • Execute business strategy for the assigned territory in area of interoperability build for P2M and P2P payments
  • Gain understanding of the payment landscape of the territory assigned, to drive market strategy of building scale in transactions
  • Manage relationships with existing clients and carry out business development activity for acquiring new clients
  • Drive business objectives of the assigned territory, contributing to financial goals
  • Collaborate internally to ensure delivery / uptime on established business partnerships and project delivery on new partnerships
  • Engage and work with local regulator/authorities to ensure compliance with local norms/framework, by developing understanding of local laws and regulations
  • Build strong brand presence through marketing initiatives, by ensuring brand presence and visibility of NPCI products
  • Participate in events, forums, business bodies including with Indian Missions – to drive business objectives
  • Understand/analyse transaction data and take/recommend appropriate business decisions in the market


Skills & Qualifications:


  • 5 + years work experience in merchant payment domain with focus on Institutional and B2B merchants engagements
  • Payment enthusiast, with sound knowledge of global payment landscape including new payment trends such as alternate payment methods.
  • Experience in managing merchant business value chain including sales and service
  • MBA or equivalent from a reputed college
  • Experience in dealing with Senior Executives such as procurement heads to enable payments
  • Proficiency in making presentations, business proposals and business cases
  • Top notch verbal and written communication and influencing skills, with ability to engage with decision makers
  • French language proficiency is mandatory
