About the client
Applica are currently partnering with a leading energy operator who currently require a Lead Document Controller to join a new South American FPSO development. The role will be based in Paris, France on a 12-month renewable basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a project pre-FID and see through to execution.
About the role
As the Lead Document Controller your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with Company Specifications, Affiliate, and Corporate procedures related to Documentation Management.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining a Documentation Management plan outlining strategy, organization, and tools.
- Establishing procedures, specifications, and tools for efficient document management throughout all project phases and locations.
- Liaising with Corporate Departments to implement and maintain Company documentation management system within the project.
- Supervising and supporting the Documentation section in their duties throughout the project.
- Participating in the implementation of Documentation Management systems for contractors.
- Conducting Documentation Control and Management activities, including utilizing New PRODOM for registration, review workflows, and conformity checks.
- Analysing documentation for compliance with Project standards.
- Coordinating with Affiliate and other departments for correspondence management.
- Assisting the Project team with documentation management activities.
- Reporting concerns to Project management promptly.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality during all project phases.
- Gathering 'lessons learnt' regarding Documentation Management and providing feedback as required.
About you
With extensive experience in Oil & Gas Documentation Control Management and proficiency in English and French, you will have minimum of 10 years' professional experience, including at least 5 years in a project environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to tackle technical challenges in the Project while maintaining high H3SE standards.
