Conference Associate

**Job Description Summary**:
Take your coordination and organizational skills to the next level as a Conference Associate at Canada’s largest biotechnology company - STEMCELL Technologies

As a Conference Associate you will be working closely with managers to aid in the coordination and facilitation of conferences. You’ll also work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to prepare and distribute materials, while providing administrative support and collaborating with the Conference Management team to prepare and organize materials for our conferences.

This is an excellent position for those looking to start their career in conference planning while expanding their knowledge of the biotechnology space

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Support the planning of remote, face-to-face, and hybrid events, ensuring that the execution is completed on time and within budget
- Prepare, print, distribute, and track marketing materials for conferences and local events
- Provide logístical support for Conference Specialists, Managers, and the Sales team, including preparation of conference collateral, managing correspondence, and taking meeting minutes
- Coordinate internal purchase orders

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate in French or German is an asset
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds
- Experience with fostering collaboration, and demonstrating excellent team-work and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Undergraduate degree in the life sciences would be considered an asset
