Our aim is to provide you with valuable insights through a cross-functional rotation plan that will allow you to gain a big picture perspective.

This is your chance to be part of a select cohort of graduates for our November intake of the Graduate Program as:
**Corporate Governance and Sustainability Graduate**

The objective of the Corporate Governance and Sustainability Graduate Officer is to support the AMIEO governance and sustainability agendas across the organization, aligning with corporate direction and global trends, ensuring Nissan's goal to empower mobility, and to create value for all stakeholders.

This will be accomplished by understanding the importance of corporate governance as fundamental to sustainable business growth, the three pillars of Sustainability - Environmental, Social, and Governance, and their relation to creating a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive society.

After successfully finalizing the graduate program, you will have perspectives to stay at Nissan on a permanent basis with the support of creating a tailor-made career development plan that will enable you to be the driver of your career.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Facilitate the delivery of the Environmental, Social, and Governance priorities defined by the management team which are linked to stakeholder needs and business objectives.
- Be aware of trends, understand risks and opportunities, and help strengthen governance and sustainability strategies and initiatives across AMIEO.
- Support management to organize and execute various committees, forums, and operational touchpoints.

**Specific tasks and missions may include support with**:

- The AMIEO Nissan Cares Program (Philanthropy, Corporate Donations)
- Employee engagements and communications
- Employee training programs and contents
- Platforms, tools, documents
- Target-setting, performance monitoring, and reporting
- Market intelligence/research gathering/dissemination

**Required background, experience, and education**:

- Master's Degree in a sustainability-related field of study (e.g. Environmental Sciences, Public Policy, Renewable Energy), Business, Law/Legal Affairs, or External Governmental Affairs.
- 1-2 years of experience in relative areas.

**Skills, abilities, and languages**:

- Sincere interest in, and understanding of, sustainability dimensions and sustainable business practices. Solving problems and finding solutions for the mutual benefit of society and the company.
- Ability to balance a structured, analytical way of working with flexibility and concern for fast-evolving critical issues.
- A mindset for creativity, collaboration, diversity, and inclusivity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of English (speaking, writing).
- Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- Understanding and adhering to the highest level of confidentiality and behaving with integrity.
