We, at Nissan, have carefully tailored an 18-month program where newly graduated talents can grow, learn, and accelerate their career in a fast-paced environment to build a strong path towards leadership roles. Our aim is to provide you with valuable insights through a cross-functional rotation plan that will allow you to gain a big picture perspective.

This is your chance to be part of a select cohort of graduates for our November intake of the Graduate Program as:
**Sustainability and Compliance Graduate**

Within this Graduate Trainee Rotation Program, you will be able to discover 2 different roles within the Sustainability and Compliance function.

The objective of the Sustainability and Compliance Graduate Officer is to support the AMIEO sustainability and compliance agendas across the organization, aligning with corporate direction and global trends, ensuring Nissan's goal to empower mobility, and to create value for all stakeholders.

This will be accomplished by understanding the importance of corporate governance as fundamental to sustainable business growth, the three pillars of Sustainability - Environmental, Social, and Governance, and their relation to creating a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive society.

Each must be viewed from a corporate, regional, functional, and internal/external stakeholder point of view using data, intelligence, insights, policy and regulatory drivers, committees, and performance metrics.

After successfully finalizing the graduate program, you will have perspectives to stay at Nissan on a permanent basis with the support of creating a tailor-made career development plan that will enable you to be the driver of your career.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Facilitate the delivery of the Environmental, Social, and Governance priorities defined by the management team which are linked to stakeholder needs and business objectives.
- Be aware of trends, understand risks and opportunities, and help strengthen governance and sustainability strategies and initiatives across AMIEO.
- Support management to organize and execute various committees, forums, and operational touchpoints.

**AMIEO Carbon Neutrality**
- Strategies, objectives aligned to mid and long-term goals
- Risks, opportunities, trends, and business cases
- Governance and forums, materials, and reporting

**AMIEO Sustainability Regulation**
- ** Internal and external information gathering and sharing**:

- Regulatory identification, assessment
- Regulatory analysis, implementation, and reporting

**Required background, experience, and education**:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a sustainability-related field of study (e.g. Environmental Sciences, Public Policy, Renewable Energy), Business, Law/Legal Affairs, or External Governmental Affairs.
- 1-2 years of experience in relative areas.

**Skills, abilities, and languages**:

- Ability to balance a structured, analytical way of working with flexibility
- A mindset for creativity, collaboration, diversity, and inclusivity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong command of English (speaking, writing)
- Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Understanding and adhering to the highest level of confidentiality and behaving with integrity
