**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
Bring Expertise and support to minimize impacts on the Environment (environment footprint of operations, management of historical pollution & environmental liabilities) and protect Alstom assets & reduce risks of business interruption.

**RESPONSABILITIES**:

- **Contribute to Alstom Transport EHS Strategy definition**
- Define and propose the 3-year Environment vision of Alstom and associated objectives to be integrated into the global EHS strategy and in line with CSR & Sustainability vision.
- Benchmark environmental performance of Competitors, Partners & Customers
- **Built & Deploy Environmental Programs to meet Environmental Objectives**
- Propose action plans to reach Environment Objectives and Targets, support operation in implementing actions in coordination with Regional EHS Directors
- Support operations when an expertise in environmental field is needed (ex.: advice to obtain an environmental permit, energy work-shop) under the request of Regional EHS Directors.
- Ensure the Environmental Liabilities process is properly deployed in Alstom. Lead the process for critical M&A projects as defined by Alstom management. Review yearly the adequacy of financial provisions.
- Lead continuous improvement of the Environmental Performances.
- **Support tendering process for Environmental related topics**
- Provide expertise in tendering process for Environmental related topics in case of Environment critical tenders. Contribute to commercial success.
- Organize/Make available tools & material to support EHS Region to prepare the Environmental part of tenders for no-Environment critical tenders. Contribute to commercial success.
- **Develop Environmental know-how of EHS Function in Alstom**
- Monitor, assist, coach, assess, and develop the EHS community for Environment topics & Management of historical pollution.
- **Support the development of Environment Management System**
- Contribute to the definition of the Alstom EHS Management System Strategy.
- Support EHS Process and Tools Director to build, update, promote a set of key Environmental processes & standards to support operations in reaching ISO 14001 compliance and environmental targets.
- Built, Update, promote a set of key Environmental tools to support implementation of those processes (eg.TOPE).
- Built, Update, promote the process to manage Environmental Liabilities (existing ones and new ones resulting from Merger & Acquisition).
- **Develop Environmental knowledge and culture in Alstom**
- Propose Environment Training
- Support the development of Training
- Ensure acute communication to raise environment awareness & literacy within Alstom

**PROFIL**
- University Engineer or Business Degree
- Environment Qualification to Diploma or Degree level

**EXPERIENCES**
- 5 years of operational experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Environment in industrial environment
- Experience in International Company & Matrix organization
- Good Knowledge on railways processes and products is a plus
