**The Work You'll Do**:

Reporting directly to the VP of Global Strategic Sales, the Strategic Account Director assumes a crucial role in our international team. The primary focus is to deliver advanced technology solutions, addressing critical challenges for our global clientele. At the core of this position is the direct oversight of Sovos Tax Compliance Platform sales, ensuring seamless compliance on a global scale.
**More specifically you will**:
- Generate new opportunities for global strategic accounts.
- Effectively manage internal resources throughout the entire sales cycle, from the first contact to closing deals and implementing strategic up-sell/cross-sell initiatives.
- Develop and execute targeted strategies to boost sales and retain key customers through an account-based commercial approach
- Drive profitable new business revenue growth in the assigned territory, consistently meeting and surpassing revenue targets and quotas.
- Cultivate and manage a well-balanced pipeline across the assigned territory, achieving sustained growth in new business revenue.
- Create and nurture relationships with executives and C-Suite professionals among existing clients and prospects.
- Build a consistent year-over-year record of high performance and accountability, employing various sales approaches for managing complex deals within large global enterprises.
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the tax compliance industry and stay informed about the evolving competitive landscape.
- Provide management with timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to guide strategic decision-making.
**What We Need From You**:
- Demonstrated track record of successfully selling SaaS-based or software solutions to large multinational organizations, navigating complex sales cycles.
- Proven expertise in targeting, prospecting, and closing deals, consistently surpassing revenue quotas for expansive multi-country accounts.
- Proficient in presenting and articulating ideas at the C-Suite level with a depth of knowledge and credibility.
- Applies a highly analytical approach to define client outcomes and effectively communicate the value proposition.
- Utilizes data and facts to construct compelling narratives that drive successful sales outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Requires moderate travel to effectively engage with clients and prospects.
