**The primary responsibility of the ‘Technical Sales Specialist
- Cold Storage Equipment’ is to increase sales and grow market share through both direct and supporting sales activities within the assigned region (France & Benelux).**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop, update and implement an annual ‘Business Development Plan
- Collaboratively own the product portfolio to market.
- Drive revenue growth and share gain for the portfolio in the South West region.
- Be the point of reference as a ‘Biobanking Product Champion’ and not as a ‘Product Manager’.
- Develop product knowledge within the Channel and direct Sales team through a proactive hybrid training approach
- Partner with the Channel team to prioritize sales training with channel partners to ensure that they know how to position the LPD products and that LPD is top of mind.
- Ensure channels have adequate support to promote our products e.g., workdays with LPD Reps, training events, using SFDC.
- Identify and leas opportunities for performance improvement across the Region
- Ensure the Sales team are focused on agreed products to drive growth.
- Work closely with Regional Sales teams and Channel Management to identify market and customer opportunities in order to improve market share and revenue growth.
- Identify, own and develop relationships at key accounts to increase wallet share. Work alongside the LPD and cross divisional sales team to develop wallet share strategies at these accounts.
- Provide product expertise in public tenders, quotations and demonstrations.
- Support and facilitate market research into key market & pricing trends and evolving customer requirements.
- Work with the TSS Manager to identify and execute tactical and strategic initiatives to drive end user preference for our products including NPI’s in the market with key support functions (e.g., regional marketing).
- Take ownership for driving change and adherence to internal processes.
- Travel estimated at 60% through supporting and direct field based activities.

**Experience/Qualifications/Qualities**:

- Must have a passion for laboratory products.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a sales related role with evidence of developing action plans to achieve against plan.
- Able to demonstrate examples of leading without authority, strong commercial skill, excellent time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding on the concepts and importance of regular pipeline management and forecasting activities.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop actions from market trends and data.
- Proven success in forming inter-departmental relationships and cross matrix groups.
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
- ‘A can-do attitude’ and ‘Driving Change’ approach
- English language skills essential
