The group is present in more than 100 countries through wholly owned subsidiaries in 17 countries and a network of distributors worldwide.**The Global** **Business Development****Director** will be part of the Global Business Development Team and report directly to the Chief BD Officer (CBDO).The Director will lead activities related to due diligence and execution on Business Development opportunities across therapeutical areas and stages of product development.Primary purpose of this role is to ensure Business Development opportunities and transactions are aligned with Biocodex’s overall corporate strategy while maintaining close working relationships with fellow members of all key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in process and execution.The Director will establish a robust reputation for Biocodex in Business Development and increase Biocodex visibility of partner-of-choice for assets across the globe.# **Your responsibilities**### Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:• Collaborate with the CBDO to optimize deal flow (process and execution), Business Development strategy and visibility of Biocodex as partner-of-choice across Biocodex Therapeutic Areas (TA)• Lead due diligence, structure and negotiate transactions, including in/out-licensing deals, product acquisitions, strategic partnerships and M&As• Actively partner with senior leaders and key stakeholder functions (including but not limited to Operations, Customer Experience, R&D, Medical, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing) to:(a) Establish Business Development strategy & goals in alignment with overall business/corporate strategy and objectives(b) Ensure high-quality due diligences(c) Execute value-add deals• Ensure appropriate documentation of due diligence findings, and review and approval by respective functions.• Lead contract negotiations and work cross-functionally with colleagues from all stakeholder functions (including but not limited to Legal, IP, Finance, R&D, Commercial and Manufacturing) to ensure high quality contracts are negotiated and executed to protect future interests of BIOCODEX business• Provide concise and accurate updates and documentation to senior management (and committees involving members from the Board of Directors when necessary) for deal review and decision-making. Coordinate internal appropriate Governance.• Contribute actively to business strategy through analysis of evolving market, R&D/competitive landscape and BIOCODEX overall corporate strategy and objectives• Interface with key stakeholder functions within BIOCODEX as well as with executives outside BIOCODEX including individuals at the level of Chairman and CEO• Maintain professional network with external companies and advisors including attendance at appropriate conferences and other industry events.# Profile**Education / Certifications:**• Master’s degree required (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or Medicine).Master’s in finance or MBA desirable**Experience:**• Experience confirmed (15 years) in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong track record of executing BD deals• Extensive experience in identifying, assessing, and leading due diligence of external opportunities in a business development or equivalent function• Strong people management skills in a cross functional environment• Experience of several therapeutic areas ideal• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and motivate others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives• Open-minded with a strong understanding of global cultures and the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.• Fluent English, French is a plus**OTHERS INFORMATIONS :**Type of contract: CDIStatus: cadreLocation: Gentilly (accessible ligne 4, Rer B, Tram T3a) Desired integration date: asapPerks & Benefits: I/P, telework, transport costs covered (70%) ...
