A technical sale manager is responsible for selling technical products or services to clients by understanding their needs and presenting appropriate solutions.

You will play a vital role in driving sales and revenue growth for our company by promoting and selling our solutions, products, and technical services to prospective clients.

You will serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and potential customers, understanding their needs, providing technical expertise, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

This position requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, sales skills, and a customer-centric mindset, such as a reciprocal loyalty approach.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients, generating leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  2. Conduct thorough needs analysis and assessments to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance on our products and services.
  3. Present and demonstrate our solutions as alternatives to petrochemical industries, highlighting key features and benefits.
  4. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and secure new business opportunities.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns.
  6. Achieve sales targets and performance metrics through effective pipeline management and regular reporting on sales activities.
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies to anticipate customer needs.
  8. Propose partnerships for innovative co-development in sustainable and local products.
Required Skills
  1. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of animal nutrition industries.
  2. Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and develop long-lasting relationships.
  4. Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
  5. Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  6. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  8. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
Required Qualifications
  1. Engineer and Commercial degrees, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  2. Proven experience in technical sales in a B2B environment, preferably in animal nutrition or connected fields.
  3. Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, including consultative and solution selling approaches.
  4. Proficiency in using CRM and reporting tools such as PowerBI and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
