Senior Enterprise Sales Professional

Join Proofpoint, a leading cybersecurity company, as a Senior Enterprise Sales Professional to drive new business across all vertical markets within an assigned account set of approximately 15 Strategic accounts.

This role demands interaction with large-scale enterprises at the CIO, IT Director, and CISO level, as well as with technical staff within the security and IT organization.

Responsibilities include establishing strong business relationships at the executive level, advanced solution selling capabilities, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account, and consistently closing business for Proofpoint.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new and existing accounts, generate interest, qualify, cultivate relationships, and successfully develop and close new business.
  • Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles and work with our partners and internal teams to best serve the customer.
  • Develop an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed selling effort into the assigned accounts.
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends and how they affect Proofpoint products and services.
  • Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers to organize and deliver compelling and flawless product demonstrations.
  • Partner with the channel to gain access into new accounts.
  • Deliver strong operational excellence, including forecast accuracy and SFDC pipeline development.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets within the cybersecurity or IT infrastructure marketplace.
  • Proven ability to articulate a large portfolio of products – solutions and services.
  • Ability to develop relationships at the C-level.
  • Business acumen to understand the cybersecurity threat landscape and become the trusted advisor of the CISO.
  • Able to effectively collaborate with channel partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly and effectively articulate Proofpoint's value.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to use SFDC, pricing, and other online tools effectively.
  • Existing relationships within similar markets are preferred.
  • In addition to fluency in French, fluency in English is also required.
