Regional Demand Planning Assistant EMEA Opportunity

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is a leading manufacturer and marketer of prestige beauty products. As a global leader in the industry, we touch over half a billion consumers annually. To support our Demand Planning Department, we are seeking a Regional Demand Planning Assistant EMEA for a 6-month internship in our EMEA offices in Paris. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about beauty and interested in developing their experience in supply chain planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Produce accurate sales forecasts for one brand from our portfolio, collaborating with regional and affiliate marketing teams.
  2. Conduct monthly KPI analysis to identify root causes of forecast variance and implement corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with our statistical provider to clean historical events and improve forecast accuracy.
  4. Manage master data to reflect product life cycles.
  5. Maintain promotional item usage plans in collaboration with affiliate marketing teams.
  6. Support the Regional Demand Planning Lead on S&OP meetings preparation.

Requirements:

  • Student of engineering or business school, or 3rd cycle with supply chain specialization.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong Excel skills, familiarity with Access or SAP a plus.
  • Proficiency in English, able to follow English-language meetings and phone calls.
