Position: International Partnerships and Mobilization Internship
The Agence Française de Développement (AFD) is seeking an intern to assist in various key activities:
- Engagement in the identification, oversight, and facilitation of AFD's collaborations with global financial entities, focusing on multilateral and regional development banks.
- Preparation of analytical reports, and maintenance of data sheets regarding AFD's primary multilateral collaborators and their initiatives.
- Conducting comparative analyses utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data on development stakeholders.
- Support in the organization and preparation of meetings for the Director-General with partner organizations during international development conferences.
This internship opportunity is located at the AFD headquarters.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirement: Master’s degree
- Field of Study: Political Studies, International Relations, Development Economics, Political Science, or Development Cooperation.
- Experience: 0-3 years
- Language Proficiency: French and English (both written and spoken at a proficient level)
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and energetic, possessing strong writing, analytical, and synthesis capabilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with a genuine interest in global matters such as climate change, development finance, and geopolitical dynamics. A proactive approach and initiative are highly regarded.
