We are in search of dedicated Security Solutions Sales Experts to enhance our capabilities across diverse business sectors, catering to a variety of customer needs within our enterprise, regulated, and partner services divisions.

The Solution Specialist Unit within the Microsoft Security organization plays a pivotal role in this initiative, engaging directly with clients to ensure their success. With a vast network of security professionals globally, substantial annual investments in security research and development, and state-of-the-art AI-driven Security innovations, Microsoft is uniquely positioned to offer unparalleled protection to customers and partners worldwide.

We seek passionate and credible Security Solutions Sales Experts who are driven to identify and cultivate security sales opportunities that provide substantial customer value and facilitate their digital transformation journey. In this role, you will strive to comprehend customer challenges and priorities, pinpoint security opportunities, construct security solutions, and effectively demonstrate these solutions to secure technical decisions. You will also spearhead consultative discussions with clients and collaborate on the planning, orchestration, and execution of comprehensive security opportunities alongside a virtual team of resources from both Microsoft and our partner ecosystem. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution: Articulates how to facilitate digital transformation across various workloads and collaborates with a virtual team to assess customer needs, proactively develop external stakeholder mapping, and implement strategies that expedite deal closures, drive consumption and licensing transactions, and expand business with both existing and new customers.
  • Scaling and Collaboration: Works in tandem with partners to plan, orchestrate, and execute comprehensive Security opportunities, focusing on cross-selling and up-selling products, solutions, and services.
  • Technical Expertise: Leads comprehensive Security discussions, shares best practices, and evaluates opportunities to provide recommendations on pursuing or withdrawing from specific initiatives.
  • Sales Excellence: Collaborates with the extended sales team, partners, and marketing to conduct business analysis aimed at targeting high-potential customers and developing a strategic list of potential business opportunities. Manages the end-to-end Security pipeline for the assigned territory, conducts forecasting for designated accounts, and formulates a portfolio and territory plan with guidance.
  • Completes necessary training and obtains relevant product and role certifications aligned with the responsibilities and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in technology-related sales or account management OR a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field combined with technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in security-related sales or account management, particularly with enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Security and/or Compliance products.
  • A strong technical passion with a solid understanding of cloud security technologies, including Threat protection (Endpoint security, Email security, Incident Response, etc.), Kill Chain, Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM), Multi-Cloud Security, and Identity and Access management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Artificial Intelligence-based security offerings such as Security Copilot, as well as related technologies like Microsoft 365 Defender, extended detection and response (XDR), and Sentinel, or other relevant technologies such as Prisma Cloud, Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, and Splunk is advantageous.
