About the Role:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) Softgoods Trail & Outdoor M/W is a key position within Salomon's sales team, responsible for driving sales and promoting the brand in the designated region of Paris and East France. This role requires a strong understanding of the market, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and execute a seasonal game plan to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territory
- Develop a seasonal game plan to drive Salomon brand guidelines, strategies, and priorities
- Meet seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distribution
- Identify territory sales, distribution, and promotion opportunities
- Take care of all customer-related topics, including sales and accounting aspects
- Sell Thru & Consumer Experience: Ensure a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge for store employees in Premium Partner and selected category specialty doors
- Inform Market Manager of trade-related information on an ongoing basis
- Share best practices across sales and marketing teams
Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience in related sales roles with strong selling and negotiating skills
- Strong analytical skills to analyze sell thru and sales data
- Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables)
- Fluency in French and English
