Position Summary:
- Review all incoming invoices to confirm accurate pricing, quality, supplier details, and invoice correctness.
- Input data into the financial management system to ensure that supplier accounts are reconciled and that aging reports are maintained.
- Process payment documentation and initiate timely disbursements, ensuring compliance with internal financial protocols.
- Record all accounts receivable transactions and ensure that the balances in the Accounts Receivable subsidiary ledger align with the General Ledger.
- Maintain an organized filing system for creditors and ensure that outstanding invoices correspond with the Accounts Receivable aging report.
- Prepare and verify commission payments for partners on a weekly basis.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of bank statements to ensure that payment totals match withdrawals from the bank account and the Accounts Receivable subsidiary ledger.
- Prepare all service contract payments in accordance with the legal stipulations of the agreements.
- Address inquiries from suppliers regarding payment status, invoice queries, and account balances.
- Assist the Finance Controller and Assistant Finance Controller with any requests related to hotel operations.
- Communicate with the ownership group to clarify any payment-related issues as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in English, with strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent command of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant accounting software.
