We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team in Paris as an Enterprise Sales Expert for Latin America. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in complex B2B sales and drive business growth in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About Akur8:

Akur8 is a young, innovative Insurtech company that has revolutionized insurance pricing and reserving with transparent Machine Learning since 2016. Our cutting-edge SaaS platform empowers insurers to model their risks 10 times faster, with higher predictive power than traditional methods.

As a member of our growing Sales team, you will play a crucial role in further developing Akur8's footprint in Large Accounts and Mid-Market across Spain and Latin America. Your key objective will be to identify and prospect leads to generate new pipeline, pitch the value of Akur8, lead POCs (Proof of Concept), and sign new deals in your territory.

You will be based in our Paris office and may require traveling for business development events in the region. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong track record of success in complex B2B sales, with experience in a SaaS company or the insurance space being a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning your territory and associated quota
  • Identifying new opportunities in Spain & Latam, exploring every segment and lines of business
  • Pitching and negotiating with various stakeholders (Technical Directors, Procurement, Senior Management)
  • Working on and submitting proposals, negotiating contracts with clients
  • Building strong relationships with strategic prospects and clients, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in complex B2B sales as an Account Manager, Sales Executive, or Customer Success Manager
  • Familiarity with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs (bonus points for Salesforce experience), Slack communication, multi-team interactions
  • Good self-management skills, efficiency, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • 'Hunter' mindset, researching potential customers, agility, and adaptability to sell a rapidly evolving product
  • Level-headedness to project manage smaller (~90K) and larger (200K - 300K) contracts, excellent presentation skills for medium to long sales cycles
  • Proven expertise in business development and mastering sales strategies for complex deep-tech SaaS products
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively with peers and other teams (marketing, partnerships, and technical teams)
  • Native Spanish speaker, excellent communication skills (oral, written, non-verbal), fluent English mandatory
  • Proactive, dynamic, curious, eager to learn, action-oriented
