Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will be someone with a proven track record of success across the business development lifecycle, capable of leading initiatives to generate and engage with business partners, driving new business growth for Akkar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, while building connections with prospective partners.
  • Lead the planning and execution of projects aimed at driving business growth, collaborating with sales, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Organize and manage product evaluations and demonstrations for customers, including detailed walkthroughs of products.
  • Oversee RFI/RFQ processes, emphasizing in-depth discussions on technologies and offerings.
  • Perform detailed market research to identify opportunities for growth, evaluate competitive landscapes, and formulate strategies to establish Akkar as a market leader.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior business development or sales role, ideally within the ADAS or AV sector.
  • Strong technical background in both hardware (HW) and software (SW) related to the ADAS/AV sector, enabling effective sales with minimal training.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel.
