Channel Account Manager - Fortinet

Location: Remote

The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for enhancing the company's reputation as a leader in Unified Threat Management, with a focus on fostering relationships within the partner ecosystem in the designated region. This position plays a vital role in driving revenue growth, aligning with the company's strategic objectives. The CAM will oversee operations in the North area, adhering to Fortinet's channel initiatives and spearheading new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include empowering, educating, and training partners on the company's offerings and technologies, including strategies for marketing development funds, account engagement, and profitability benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the channel landscape within the designated region.
  • Promote the adoption of innovative technologies in the assigned territory.
  • Deliver continuous sales and technical training to partners.
  • Craft marketing strategies to enhance sales pipelines and revenue using development funds.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.
  • Navigate potential channel conflicts through effective communication and adherence to Fortinet's channel program standards.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in channel sales and territory management within networking or security industries.
  • Proven experience in developing business and marketing strategies with partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct sales training and excel in a dynamic environment with revenue accountability.
  • Familiarity with the distribution channel framework.
  • Experience in sales forecasting, opportunity identification, and closing deals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential.
  • Strong presentation capabilities for both executives and team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
