Business Development Associate

At AgFunder, we're revolutionizing the future of global health by deploying a global solution against the antibiotic resistance pandemic. Our team is passionate about using machine learning and optimized microbiology to fight ever-evolving infections with ever-evolving medicines. We're seeking a highly ambitious and multi-talented individual to join our team as a Business Development Associate.

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities in France and internationally. You will also assist in nurturing existing ones, perform market research, and identify emerging trends and opportunities in the agrifood, health, and biotech sectors. Additionally, you will help produce reporting & board materials, assist in general company operations, and support company communication.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in business domain or relevant equivalent
  • Initiative taker, fast learner, problem solver, rigorous, can-do attitude — entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Some startup, VC, or strategic consulting experience
