Critical Infrastructure Sales and Business Development Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in France. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of new Critical Infrastructure opportunities within your given region and ensuring all growth targets are achieved.

You will work closely with our European Business Development Director to develop business and drive project specification within this sector. Your primary focus will be on supporting and collaborating across the whole team to develop business and drive project specification within this sector.

About the Role

  • Build a pipeline of new Critical Infrastructure opportunities.
  • Field-based position with 60% of your time spent travelling and visiting customers.
  • Project manage critical infrastructure accounts within your region.
  • Closing opportunities to achieve targets.
  • Develop and execute account strategies for accounts, including account plans.
  • Introduce relevant products and solutions to all opportunities.
  • Support consultants and specifiers within the specific sector.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to determine customer needs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and association meetings.
  • Collaborate across different business areas in HID to efficiently deliver solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain customer details, activities, and opportunities using CRM.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all HID products and competitive products & solutions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate forecasts on a regular basis using the tools provided.

Requirements

  • Customer-first approach with a clear can-do attitude.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region – 60%.
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing, and organization skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • Show good initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Work calmly under pressure.
  • Native French, ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
