Job Title: Labor Relations Lead, France

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Lead to join our France HR Consulting team. As a key member of our EMEA HR Consulting organization, you will play a critical role in supporting managers and employees with labor relations management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead labor relations engagement in France, partnering closely with country HR leadership and business leadership to ensure a healthy and productive labor relations environment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Work's Council and union negotiations within France, alongside a second Labor Relations Consultant.
  • Partner with internal and external legal counsel, HR stakeholders, and business leadership teams to manage and resolve technology enquires/launches requiring collective engagement.
  • Assist/Partner with HR and change leaders to implement organizational changes that require labor relations engagements, especially during fiscal year changes.
  • Ensure appropriate control, compliance, and tracking of open labor relations issues in partnership with internal and external legal counsel and HR stakeholders at the country level.
  • Build and manage constructive, effective relationships with employee representatives and provide insights to business leaders and HR partners on the relationships between the company and employee representatives.
  • Analyse labor trends, prepare negotiation strategies, and lead collective bargaining agreements.
  • Partner with internal and external legal counsel and HR stakeholders to surface trends and themes in labor relations for France.
  • Own and interpret the CBA(s) (Collective Bargaining Agreements) and provide consultation and guidance to partners when required.
  • Inform and consult on timelines for people and policy changes that require labor relations engagements and lead the labor relations engagements at the country-level, partnering with business leadership when appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Human Resources or Business programs/processes.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree AND experience with Human Resources or Business programs/processes.
  • Extensive experience with French Work's Councils and unions/collective bargaining.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Depth of experience within Employee Relations.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)/Society for Human Resources Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
