EMEA Key Account Technical Sales Engineer

At Vertiv, we're shaping the future of 5G and Edge technologies globally. Our team in France is looking for an exceptional individual to join as an EMEA Key Account Technical Sales Engineer. As a key team player, your responsibilities will include reviewing RFQs, providing pre-sales technical support, and designing new solutions. If you're passionate about critical power products and have expertise in Uninterruptible Power Supplies, battery storage systems, and Data Center infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Review RFQs and identify customer requirements/specifications;
- Provide pre-sales technical support of product specifications;
- Standard product selection based on customer requirements;
- Design new solutions where standard products do not fit;
- Define feasibility and costs of solutions/products;
- Integration and coordination with internal departments and/or external suppliers;
- Attend customer meetings with Sales manager as a technical expert;
- Visit consultants on a regular basis, owning the relationships and collaborate in developing effective solutions;
- Work with Product Management and Sales teams to give feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar related field.
- Expertise in the utilization of critical power products such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), battery storage systems, Data Center infrastructure and electrical infrastructure solutions.
- Language skills: fluent English and French written and verbal required.
- Excellent IT skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and Customer/Sales orientation.
