EMEA Key Account Technical Sales Engineer, Critical Infrastructure Solutions Specialist

At Vertiv, we're shaping the future of critical infrastructure solutions and 5G technologies globally. As an EMEA Key Account Technical Sales Engineer, you'll be part of our international team in France, working on diverse projects and collaborating with experts from various backgrounds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing RFQs and identifying customer requirements/specifications;
  • Providing pre-sales technical support of product specifications;
  • Standard product selection based on customer requirements;
  • Designing new solutions where standard products do not fit;
  • Defining feasibility and costs of solutions/products;
  • Integration and coordination with internal departments and/or external suppliers;
  • Attending customer meetings with Sales managers as a technical expert;
  • Visiting consultants on a regular basis, owning relationships and collaborating in developing effective solutions;
  • Working with Product Management and Sales teams to give feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products.

Requirements include:

  • A Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field;
  • Expertise in critical power products such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), battery storage systems, Data Center infrastructure, and electrical infrastructure solutions;
  • Language skills: fluent English and French written and verbal required;
  • Excellent IT skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and Customer/Sales orientation.
