UI Development Specialist

As a UI Development Specialist on the DesignOps Team at Datadog, you will play a key role in shaping the development and operations of our Design System, Druids. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced UI developer with expertise in design systems to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to build, maintain, and improve Druids, ensuring it remains state-of-the-art. You will work closely with TypeScript, React, and LESS, as well as collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving. Additionally, you will focus on improving our documentation platform and its content to increase adoption and usability.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality UI components and assets using TypeScript, React, and LESS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionality.
• Improve the overall user experience by adhering to accessibility standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our coding standards and guidelines.
