Senior Business Development Manager

The Relationship Manager is a key ambassador of ING, responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining profitable multi-products relationships with prospects and clients.
Commercial Client Management- Develop and execute commercial strategies in coordination with key internal stakeholders.
- Grow a strategic dialogue with clients' decision-makers and grasp active/lead roles as advisor or coordinator.
- Prepare and maintain client commercial plans in close cooperation with product specialists and ING network offices.
- Grow sector expertise and connect with local/central sector teams to share and be aligned on strategic direction.
- Define structured commercial plans for each prospect/client by identifying clients' critical business issues and opportunities.
- Assess credit risk and propose deal structures to minimize risk and seize capital allocation.
- Obtain concrete commitment from clients to deliver on promises within a reasonable timeframe.
- Lead the commercial approval process and align internal stakeholders.
- Provide commercial input on Credit Applications, Modifications, and Reviews to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Follow up on deal execution by middle/back office.
- Manage compliance risk and adhere to ING Bank policies and standards.
- Behave strictly in adherence with The Orange Code.
