**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an Administrative & Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at the Mercedes-Benz International Design Center in Valbonne, France. As an Administrative & Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the design studio, ensuring efficient and smooth daily operations, and enhancing overall workflow.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Reception & Security:**
    • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
    • Ensure confidentiality rules are enforced for visitors and participants
    • Communicate with teams and stakeholders
    • Assist in setting up a confidentiality perimeter during interventions
  • **Purchasing & Suppliers:**
    • Contact potential suppliers and follow up on requests
    • Create, modify, and maintain supplier accounts
    • Handle and monitor purchase requests
  • **Facility Management:**
    • Support the planning of building maintenance and upkeep
    • Inform facility management company about existing issues and follow up
    • Assist and accompany service providers on site
  • **Administrative:**
    • General communication regarding daily life in the building
    • Prepare occasional translations
    • Receive and manage mail and packages with the teams
    • Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed

**Requirements:**

  • **Education:**
    • Baccalauréat, or Bac+2, Bac+3
    • Internship in a company (summer internship) highly valued
  • **Language Proficiency:**
    • Fluent in both English and French
  • **Personal Competencies:**
    • High willingness to learn and commitment
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Confident demeanor and good manners

**Job Offer:**

  • A Work-study student contract for 2 years
  • Compensation based on French Legal scale for this specific contract
