Key Responsibilities- Supervise and delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Lead by example, setting a positive tone and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Assist in menu planning and inventory management to ensure adequate supplies and minimize waste.
- Liaise with restaurant staff to ensure menu availability and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cost control, and hygiene in all food and beverage outlets.
- Implement and maintain stock rotation and minimize waste.
- Work closely with cooks and stewarding team to prepare and produce food as required.
- Ensure all working areas are clean and tidy, and equipment is well-maintained and serviced.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and food preparation guidelines.
- Relevant trade qualifications and over 5 years of experience working as a chef.
- Relevant experience in the hotel industry and knowledge of food safety requirements.
- Strong product knowledge of menu items and seasonal ingredients.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
