Procurement Manager H/F

Ponticelli Frères, a global industrial organization catering to the energy sector, is in search of a Procurement Manager.
As we enhance our Project Management Office for international initiatives, the Procurement Manager will:
- Oversee, guide, and coordinate the procurement activities for each project.
- Ensure that all project protocols are transparent and accountable to management and financial stakeholders.
- Establish and manage supplier payment conditions, shipping agreements, and terms & conditions that align with Ponticelli's interests, while negotiating pricing strategies and payment arrangements beneficial to the company.
- Guarantee prompt payments for materials and services by collaborating closely with the finance department to resolve purchase order discrepancies and implement necessary amendments.
- Collaborate with the Project Planner and Engineering and Operations teams to ensure that all procurement activities are effectively managed to meet project timelines and milestones.
- Supervise the requisitioning of all necessary goods and services as required.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing and legal standards regarding the approval of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Order Regulations.
- Generate, monitor, and evaluate procurement performance through the project procurement timeline; contribute to project governance reviews and reports. Track spending and report to the cost manager, develop and publish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for procurement within the projects.
- Collaborate with the cost manager to create cost metrics for future projects and compile a project estimating databook of actual equipment/service costs.
- Report on procurement performance in relation to the baseline plan and anticipated project benefits, including technical compliance reviews at stage gates. Work closely with the Cost Manager to ensure all procurement remains within budget, documenting opportunities and risks in the cost plan.
- Partner with the project planner to agree on procurement resource needs and milestones, monitoring progress to achieve project outputs and stage gates.
- Facilitate vendor assurance audits as necessary. Develop and manage competitive tender processes to ensure a fully auditable and compliant procurement process throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and implement the project procurement strategy and associated schedule; leverage expertise to identify requirements and lead the team to successful delivery.
- Collaborate with the project manager to ensure appropriate contract management for any third-party contractors or vendors.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role.
Demonstrated experience in the oil & gas sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
