About Us:
Ponticelli's Projects Division is at the forefront of industrial construction, comprising a dedicated team of professionals committed to innovating and enhancing production infrastructures.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Operation/Deputy/Interface Project Manager to join our International Division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects while adhering to our stringent Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSSE) policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Prepare project proposals in alignment with management directives.
• Engage in contract reviews and assessments.
• Monitor project budgets and manage expenditures diligently.
• Analyze project profitability on a detailed basis throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate any technical or progress discrepancies to the Project Manager.
• Facilitate client approvals for additional work and manage invoicing processes.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on project monitoring reports covering safety, quality, cost, and scheduling.
Project Execution:
• Participate in client engagement and internal strategy meetings.
• Oversee work preparation and conduct supervision meetings.
• Communicate project objectives clearly (safety, quality, cost, schedule).
• Assess physical progress and ensure adherence to timelines, proposing corrective actions as necessary.
• Identify personnel, equipment, and subcontracting needs, and draft relevant tenders and purchase orders.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and validate invoicing from suppliers.
• Ensure the technical and administrative accuracy of all project documentation.
• Facilitate the resolution of any project reservations and ensure final acceptance.
• Conduct supplier evaluations post-project and oversee the drafting of the end-of-project report.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in engineering, coupled with 3 to 5 years of project management experience in the oil sector or a related field, is essential. Proficiency in English is required, along with advanced skills in MS Office. The ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making abilities, leadership qualities, and effective time management skills. Please note that travel to project locations will be necessary.
