Job Title: Field Support Engineer

Join Airbus Defence and Space in Secure Land Communications (PSS) entity as a Field Support Engineer. This role is part of the team in Slovakia, belonging to the region of Europe. You will be based in Bratislava (Slovakia).

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Support Engineer to join our team in Bratislava, Slovakia. As a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers in the field, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers in the field, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our systems, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • Strong technical background in telecommunications engineering, with a focus on TETRA and TETRAPOL technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Fluency in Slovak and English languages, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
