Business Unit: Advanced Measurement Technologies
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled European Sales Manager to lead the sales growth of our three Scientific Instruments brands: Princeton Applied Research, Solartron Analytical, and Signal Recovery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrochemistry, materials science, or a related field, and a proven track record of sales success with technically complex products.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Growth: Manage and drive successful sales growth of the three Scientific Instruments brands in the European Sales Region.
- Forecasting: Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to win new targeted business.
- Customer Support: Provide advanced support and technical sales guidance for each customer within the region of responsibility.
- Market Assessment: Perform market assessment and develop sales and marketing concepts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, biology, physics, material sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience and a track record of sales successes with technically complex products.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English and German/French language communication skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel no less than 50%.
- Electrochemistry Background: Employment background in electrochemistry or analytical chemistry laboratories.
- CRM Knowledge: Basic knowledge of CRM systems, reporting functionalities, and metrics evaluation.
- Key Account Management: Experience in key account management is an advantage.
