Researcher in Quantum Metasurfaces

At INRIA, we are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team in the field of quantum metasurfaces. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for developing advanced numerical modeling tools to study the interaction of single photons and metasurfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement high-order discontinuous Galerkin time-domain methods for simulating electromagnetic waves in nano-optics
  • Collaborate with our physics partners to develop theoretical physical modeling and simulation results interpretation
  • Design and optimize quantum information processing metasurface configurations
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Scientific Computing, or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong background in computational electromagnetics, finite element methods, and numerical optimization
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and Fortran 2003, with experience in parallel programming using MPI and OpenMP
