About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling our products and services to existing and new accounts in the public sector, with a focus on Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key decision makers and end customers in the public sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales targets and exceed them.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and business planning to ensure accurate reporting and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Education to degree level in Sales Management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful sales in the public sector, with a focus on Voice/Data/Networking/Cloud solutions.
  • At least 2 years of experience in dealing with public accounts at IT manager, senior IT Level, and C-levels.
  • Strong understanding of the market and culture in the area of federal authorities.
  • Knowledge of the strategic orientation of federal authorities in the field of communication and network solutions.
  • Completed formal training in Sales techniques, especially in acquisition skills.
  • Strong focus on making a difference through the translation of technology features into customer value.
  • Ability to network within a customer and partner organization to identify key influencers and decision makers.
  • Commercial focus and negotiation skills.
  • CRM tool experience.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
