We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Academy Lead to join our team at McCain Foods Limited. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth and operational excellence of our commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial capabilities strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and global learning, to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions that drive commercial success.
- Design and implement training programs, tools, and resources to enhance the skillset and performance of commercial teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, systems, and workflows related to commercial operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of commercial capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Act as a subject matter expert on commercial capabilities, providing guidance and support to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the commercial capabilities team.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial strategy, sales operations, or marketing within the consumer-packaged goods industry.
- Proven experience in Food Service and Sales.
- Good experience with customer journey, CRM, data & digital, KPI management, project management of transformation.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving business results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems; experience with data analytics tools is desirable (e.g., Power BI).
