With a team of 300 professionals, we offer a range of services including taxation, employment law, data analysis, mergers and acquisitions, organizational consulting, HR outsourcing, and innovation financing consulting.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Financial Officer to join our team at ALPX, an EMBL Spin-off Company located in Grenoble, France. ALPX offers innovative research services based on the CrystalDirect technology for structural biology and small-molecule drug discovery to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the company's financial health and strategy, including investments, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with national and international financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the executive team in an international environment.
- 5+ years of experience managing economic operations in a corporate environment.
- Exemplary analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory issues, accounting, and tax planning in EU and France.
- Familiarity with methods of obtaining capital other than conventional loans.
- Strong knowledge of relevant economic laws and regulations and expertise in implementing internal controls.
- Team player with the ability to work on several projects in parallel and undertake financial decisions.
- Strong oral and written communication and organization skills.
- Excellent written and speaking English.
- Strong intercultural skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or similar fields.
- Experience in international finance and compliance.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Ability to build a team in a growing environment.
