We're seeking an Italian-speaking Business Development Representative to represent Databricks to prospective customers in the Italian Market. This role is ideal for a sales professional early in their career, looking to contribute to the growth of a pioneering enterprise software company and develop their sales skills. Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team of like-minded individuals and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly expanding regional team.

The impact you will have:

  • Develop your expertise in value-based selling, big data, and AI.
  • Provide exceptional customer experiences for Databricks' prospective customers.
  • Conduct thorough research on accounts and prospects to inform and develop compelling outreach strategies, driving engagement in key target accounts.
  • Maintain active communication with prospects through creative follow-up, including personalized emails, cold calls, and social selling.
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team to develop territory strategies, build pipeline, and drive adoption.
  • Identify client needs and progress conversations into sales opportunities by effectively communicating how Databricks meets their needs.

What we look for:

  • Prior sales experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • A strong determination to succeed, learn, and grow with the next best enterprise software company.
  • Consistent, measurable over-achievement in past experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in phone-based and in-person scenarios.
  • A genuine interest in big data and AI.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
