Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Sales Senior Manager for our Mid-Market Accounts Team in France, who can introduce new expertise and industry best practices to help us reach our ambitious objectives.

Key Responsibilities
The Field Sales Senior Manager will:

  • Lead a team of field-based Sales Representatives selling ADP solutions, including payroll and Human Capital Management to both new and existing clients.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement a long-term Sales strategy while providing effective leadership and direction to your team.
  • Guide your team in achieving sales targets through effective coordination and communication with ADP's clients, prospects, internal support partners, and your team.

Key Requirements
Business Leadership
As a 'business owner' for your team, execute the Company's Sales objectives and support the Sales Transformation in alignment with ADP's strategy.
Within a designated geographic area, close sales, secure business, and meet sales targets.

Ensure transparency in Sales activities by providing accurate monthly forecasts and maintaining all new account, opportunity, and contact information in accordance with established Sales processes.

Collaborate closely with the VP & DVP of Sales and colleagues within the French Sales organization and global Sales teams to ensure a consistent approach to Sales, product, and commercial strategy.

Manage Sales activities and the Mid-Market Accounts strategy to align with client needs and ADP's financial objectives, defining operational priorities in line with the Client Service Business Unit.

Be the primary contact for all field escalations within your organization, understanding the matrix network necessary to address and resolve issues from the field, escalating only when input from the VP & DVP is required.

Ensure that decision-making is data-driven, utilizing accurate data sources.

People Leadership
Lead a Sales team by articulating a vision that inspires action.

Oversee daily management of the Sales team, coordinating resources, monitoring activities, and initiating corrective actions as necessary to ensure sustainable results.

Recruit, onboard, motivate, develop, and coach Sales associates to reach their potential, achieving both revenue and new business Sales targets while providing performance feedback and coaching.

Market Leadership
Identify and communicate trends, insights, and threats that will provide context for monthly reporting and sales performance, while also identifying growth opportunities.

Drive Sales performance using established processes within the internal and external ecosystem.

Collaborate with other functional areas (such as Finance, Sales Operations, Service & Implementation teams, Legal, Marketing, and Business Consulting) to ensure smooth Sales implementation.

Manage feedback from the field regarding areas of impact (Product, Implementation, Pricing, Service, NPS, etc.) and provide data-driven insights on competitive performance.

Your Background:
Must-Have:

  • Extensive Sales experience within the HCM, payroll, and SaaS industries, preferably in a Large/Global Accounts environment.
  • Proven track record of managing a high-performing Sales team, coordinating resources, monitoring activities, and initiating corrective actions to ensure sustainable results.
  • Fluency in French and business-level English.
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-country Sales engagements, selling to stakeholders at all organizational levels, particularly C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding assigned Sales quotas both as a Salesperson and as a manager in an international context.
  • Strong work ethic, motivation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to shifting goals while delegating and coordinating workloads to achieve overall objectives within specified time and budget constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills, personal integrity, and a positive attitude in all interactions with colleagues and clients.
  • Preferably experienced in a Financial/Consultative Sales background with keen discovery skills and a desire to challenge prospects to enhance their business processes.
  • Strategic and commercial awareness, along with industry knowledge and/or familiarity with ADP's competitors is advantageous.
  • Proficient in effective use of CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.
