Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients in the field, ensuring that our advanced lighting systems are commissioned properly and serviced post-installation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical expertise and support to customers in the field, troubleshooting and repairing Lutron Systems.
  2. Coordinate with on-site contractors, lighting designers, and facility managers to ensure proper system installation and handover.
  3. Sell Lutron's service products, such as service contracts, and system upgrades.
  4. Support the Technical Support team when needed.
  5. Participate in Customer Education sessions.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science desirable.
  2. 3-5 years of Electrical and construction site experience.
  3. 3-5 years of hands-on Lighting/AV commissioning experience.
  4. Knowledge in lighting controls, building management systems, or computer networking required.
  5. Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  6. Ability to travel frequently, including other countries within Europe.
  7. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated.
  8. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  9. Valid Driver's license.
  10. Fluency in English and French (other languages an advantage).
