Role Overview

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for delivering benchmarking intelligence platforms, services, and content to designated OEMs and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive A2MAC1's brand recognition and revenue growth through the establishment of long-term partnerships with both new and existing clients.
  • Manage the sales process with a focus on nurturing enduring relationships to achieve organic growth and align with the company's long-term objectives.
  • Identify and articulate customer needs, demonstrating how A2MAC1's product features fulfill those requirements while showcasing the added value of our offerings.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customer contacts, employing creativity and strategic tools to overcome obstacles and facilitate smooth interactions.
  • Conduct thorough market research within the automotive sector, tracking OEM sales volumes and assessing the profitability of leading domestic and global component manufacturers to identify potential clients and enhance sales to current customers.
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs, feedback, and objections, shaping their perceptions of value while building relationships with key decision-makers through tact, diplomacy, and innovative negotiation techniques.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Product Managers to effectively promote value propositions to clients.
  • Achieve strong performance in securing sales contracts and managing related processes, ensuring resolution of pre-sales, sales, and customer service issues.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Accounting, to ensure a seamless contract relationship with customers from initial inquiry to cash collection.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Automobile Industry, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales or Customer Service within the automotive industry.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral.
  • Familiarity with technologies related to automotive products is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive products and service offerings, including platforms and the XaaS approach, with a strong understanding of product strengths and limitations.
  • Deep understanding of the company's sales strategy, selling model, and competitive landscape, along with the ability to develop insights into assigned accounts and their business challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, serving as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
  • Proficient in influencing purchasing decisions through tact and diplomacy.
