About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our dynamic team. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for driving new account growth and collaborating with brands across various merchant verticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with RetailMeNot's customers within assigned book of business
  • Understand and effectively communicate the value of RetailMeNot products and services
  • Summarize and present benefits of strategic partnership and marketing initiatives to merchants
  • Achieve quarterly revenue and business line targets
  • Prospect for new business relationships
  • Manage complete sales cycle process for all assigned accounts within your assigned book of business
  • Forecast and track activity within Salesforce and other CRM tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with RetailMeNot teams to provide product and competitive insights as well as achieve goals for your assigned book of business
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required in online media sales, account management, or business development
  • Experience in owning quota for a book of business
  • Proven track record of success in hitting sales targets and goals
  • Experience in the retail/merchant B2C e-commerce sectors or digital advertising sectors
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in online advertising/e-commerce/offline commerce
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Able to develop and execute business development plans that will achieve revenue targets
  • Exceptional ability to develop and deliver client-ready presentations
  • Self-motivated and enjoy working in a dynamic and results-driven environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to use market knowledge and partner feedback to improve product and service offerings
  • Polished, engaging, and persuasive communicator that is comfortable presenting at the VP level and higher
  • Structured problem solver with excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and lead attainment of quarterly goals and objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in business, advertising, liberal arts, or communications from a four-year college or university
