Role Overview

We are seeking a Pre-sales Engineer who possesses a strong orientation towards customer satisfaction. This role will involve close collaboration with the sales team, acting as a technical authority to facilitate the sale of intricate technical products and services. The ideal candidate will assist potential and existing clients in comprehending the functionality of our offerings, addressing technical inquiries, and delivering tailored demonstrations or proof-of-concept sessions to illustrate how our solutions can meet their specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert for Wallbox products, collaborating with account teams to identify and address customer technical challenges.
  • Enhance the sales process by ensuring customer product demonstrations are engaging and informative.
  • Work in tandem with Engineering, Product, and Customer Experience teams to guarantee seamless transitions from prospect to customer, ensuring long-term satisfaction.
  • Contribute to market analysis and competitor research during product development processes.
  • Create and maintain technical training materials and resources in partnership with Marketing and Services to keep customers informed about updates and solutions.
  • Utilize company tools and systems to ensure customer information is accurate and current.
  • Provide technical product knowledge and assist in overcoming objections during customer meetings, with travel as necessary.
  • Engage directly with key accounts on-site to resolve issues as needed.
  • Ensure that Wallbox Partners consistently deliver exceptional quality and customer service.
  • Support and strengthen the Wallbox Partners Network.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Wallbox solutions, including third-party integrations, and understand the operational and installation aspects of technical solutions.
  • Identify and address any issues within the Wallbox Partner Network promptly to prevent future complications.
  • Review and resolve any concerns related to Wallbox products.
  • Ensure that all installations meet quality assurance standards.
  • Assist the Tenders team as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in pre-sales or consultative technical sales within electric vehicles, renewable energy, or electronic/electrical components.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Genuine interest in electric vehicles and renewable energy solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, proactive mindset, and a strong ability to learn independently.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting, resolving customer inquiries, and providing training.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Experience working closely with end-users in a consulting or support capacity.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluency in French and a high level of proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
